The practice of Mindfulness Meditation comes from the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh.
Sighle received the Three Jewels and the five Mindfulness Trainings Certificate from the Venerable Buddhist Zen master, poet, scholar, and human rights activist Thich Nhat Hanh, affectionately known by his followers worldwide as Thay.
The teachings of Thay will be woven into other Zen and Yoga meditation techniques familiar to Sighle. This meditation hour is suitable for beginners (both men and women of all faiths and philosophies), as well as those who may have attended the monthly day- long sessions in the past. The approach is intended to be simple, practical, yet inspiring. Time to sit, walk, breathe and smile!
Something completely new!
We all experience loss at some stage of our lives. Many individuals find that there is no place for grief in this fast modern life.
It takes time with good support, to fully feel the painful feelings, and respond to the grief with one’s own creative, life-affirming action. It also helps to draw wisdom from others who share the path, or who have walked it before.
These sessions are intended to focus on tension and feelings stored in the body.
Sighle will now be using body work from her resent training in the US with Anodea Judith, and will support you with new nurturing and restorative Yoga techniques.
The focus is on giving you the tools to trust your own inner strength.
Grief becomes good grief when it takes you deep within, and when you can allow your own inner wisdom to create a more effective, empathic, awakened life.
